Hello, I am Chelsea Whitton. I am spontaneous, fun, red headed, bright, charming, loud, active, school-oriented, musical, artsy, poetic, understanding, compassionate, and loving. If there was one word to describe me it would be "whimsical" I act on whim, rather than logic. I arrive 5 minutes late for most things. Or five minutes early for me there's only black or white. I love journalism and studying the media. After years of trial I am finally happy. I love geology. I go to the University of Massachusetts Amherst as a sophomore and I am involved in the Umass outing club, Eco-Rep program, and I hope to do much much more. Last year I spent my life in Newport, one of the most wonderful places you can see. I want to work for The New York Times, break a few stories at The Washington post, and then Edit and write for National Geographic Magazine. My family and friends are the most important thing in my life. My Parents gave me the best childhood one could have asked for, love, and fun. I wish I had more confidence in myself...that has been and is a work in progress. I enjoy coffee, guitar, clarinet, piano, thinking. I have the imagination of a young child. I have beautiful people in my life, my family, my friends, and Molly my cousin is someone I have a wonderful friendship with. For my teenage years I drove a sea-foam green minivan:) I dress depending on emotion, I like baggy bohemian chic clothing. I love purses and bright shoes. I believe that smiling and closing your eyes and facing the sun is one of the most beneficiary things you can do. I enjoy carbohydrates. I don't enjoy meat. I like yoga and running, and biking up mountains when I feel inclined to or random bike paths. I like writing essays, and hate doing math. If only words existed and no numbers there would be world peace. I am anti-war. Nature is the root of all good. I love photography. I have ups and downs and try to make the most of everyday. I think daylight savings should be outlawed..because it is too damn dark here. Some days I feel beautiful, some not so beautiful. I credit Sufjan Stevens for my love of creative ficiton writing and song writing, and also motivation to learn guitar. I want to be a folk singer, and indie film actress, as well as famous photojournalist. I also plan to meet the Olsens and see Devendra Banhart in concert. Conan O'Brien is a comical genious I believe. Many people in my life don't know these things about me so I figured Id get them out there. I wear my emotions on my sleeve. I love makeup. I try to sound smart. I write novels that will probably never be published. There is a certain madness to me I can't ever put my head around. I often get sad when I think about how priviledged we are in this society we are told is normal or mediocre. We've already made it and we don't even know that. Sometimes I just want to take a backpack, my blue dress, my sunglasses a notebook and my guitar , and a camera to a foreign country and start from scratch. I live for the days where my stomach aches of laughter, and my laugh lines never fade. I aspire to be a wonderful and worthy human being:)
